ZERO Fundraising Problems in ARIZONA – Same IRS Rules

Published

on

A paid expert from ARIZONA (posing as a parent but is Executive Director of a paid advocacy group???) was flown in by SC “paid” advocates to shill for the ESA bill … but Senator Shane Massey (R-Edgefield) asked the PERFECT question …. how tax credit scholarship fundraising was going in Arizona … given he was told Chad Connelly & Exceptional SC can’t raise funds because of some made up “IRS rules change” problem.

Surprise, surprise, surprise … ZERO FUNDRAISING PROBLEMS IN ARIZONA!!! Actually the expert stated some independent non-profits (which are constitutional because not governmentt run) raised MORE MONEY!!!! OVER $100 MILLION raised under Arizona’s corporate program (one of 4 tax credit scholarship programs they have) …. in a state slightly larger than SC, but under same IRS rules.

It is not an IRS problem … it is a structural and UNCONSTITUTIONAL problem.

SC has the NATION’S ONLY state / government run K-12 tax credit program … and it is failing our kids!!! #LegislativeMalpractice is what one legislator told us. #Pathetic from another Senator.
