Where Is Exceptional SC???

From what we have been told it has been two weeks since #FireChadConnelly was let go and #RemoveTomPersons resigned from Exceptional SC Board … and where is Exceptional SC???

Have the rest of the Board resigned too … or just on VACATION??? We have not seen any communication from the board to parents or school officials … ZERO!!! 

We have reached out to EVERY BOARD MEMBER … even spoke with Exceptional SC’s attorneys … but was not able to get ANY sufficient information as far as the plan and future of the program. 

Obviously, we have and will keep offering help … we know how to raise the money … and we can do it in a timely manner for students to receive scholarships sooner than later … but what are THEY going to do???

THE VISION TO FIX EXCEPTIONAL SC:

THE SOLUTION:  Adding back CONSTITUTIONAL“independent non-profits” when the legislature returns on September 15th, CPAs will make it easy to recommend the program to their clients, people that actually care about the kids will be involved (not just “paid” fundraisers) … and we have no doubt that the collective “we” (ourselves and other groups who want to get involved) will raise the full 2020 available $12 million by 12/31 …. and next year’s available $12 million in early January 2021.  That is $24 MILLION by 1/31/2021!!!

Or we can continue to deal with fundraising problems as the NATION’S ONLY GOVERNMENT RUN K-12 TAX CREDIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM!!!

And we DON’T have a lot of time:  If the remaining four board members at Exceptional SC don’t get together with us … we won’t get anything accomplished when the SC Legislature goes back to Columbia on SEPTEMBER 15th. 

It’s NOW … or the 2020-2021 program year is lost.
