Exceptional SC Legal Status EXPIRED … AGAIN!!!

Published

on

Seriously … can this be happening again???

Granted, I am a tax attorney / CPA … so I think about these things all the time … and one of the VERY FIRST THINGS they teach us “tax people” is BEFORE YOUR CLIENT DONATES TO A NON-PROFIT … check their legal status.  If not all in order, and you let your client donate … it could be LEGAL MALPRACTICE!!!

First you check that the non-profit is actually an IRS approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit … and then you check the Secretary of State’s Office to verify the organization’s legal status is current.

(not so) Exceptional SCs Status?  EXPIRED … AGAIN!!!

Why, Why, Why???  Remember this from JANUARY 2020 … we mocked the incompetency back then … but no, the #FireTheBoard!!! at (not so) Exceptional SC let their legal status expire AGAIN!!!

Board Malpractice!!!

Legal Status Expired in January 2020 & AGAIN in December 2020

This says it all … WE know how to FIX ALL OF THIS … but the (not so) Exceptional SC Board won’t do anything … won’t talk … won’t meet … just blame others.  STOP THE INSANITY!!!!

“Only” $63,115 Raised in November!!!

Published

on

Well, it is not getting any better.  (not so) Exceptional SC only raised $63,114.78 in November … another huge FAILURE!!!

In November 2019 … as bad as that year was … they raised $427,000.

Donors have ZERO confidence in the Board at (not so) Exceptional SC … especially after they apparently let the now fired executive director Chad Connelly EMBEZZEL MONEY from the organization … from kids scholarships … and still trying to sweep it under the rug.

Would you donate to these guys … or as a CPA tell your clients to donate to them?!?!?  It is NEVER going to get better with (not so) Exceptional SC!!!

It is not getting better folks … and the BOARD at (not so) Exceptional SC is still silent.

Published

on

Well, finally, (not so) Exceptional SC speaks for the first time since September 18th.

No substantive update … just a “don’t call us, call DOR” reminder email … read it HERE

Has the Board at (not so) Exceptional SC completely given up???

Well, if they are not willing to do the work … how about get out of the way and let people that actually care do it!!!

But you have to love the closing … “Blessings”

Reminds us of something our former Governor would say …
